Metrix 97007-007 Clamshell-type Ferrite Bead
A clamshell-type ferrite bead is often applied to cabling for reducing Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), making it ideal for shielding sensitive equipment like vibration transmitters. NOTE: Based on field testing, the barrel-type ferrite bead (part number 100463) has demonstrated effective radio-frequency interference (RFI) rejection properties. The clamshell-type bead (part number 97007-007) should be considered only when specific physical installation constraints prevent the use of a barrel-type bead. This approach prioritizes RFI suppression while allowing flexibility for installation requirements.
