Metrix 5498JB Conduit Body (Junction Box) with Low Pressure Feed Through
The 5498JB Conduit Body serves as a convenient junction box for proximity probe connections that are mounted internally. With four 3/4” NPT conduit openings, it simplifies conduit installation. Additionally, three screw-in plugs are provided to block unused openings, preventing external intrusion.

The 5498JB Conduit Body serves as a convenient junction box for proximity probe connections that are mounted internally. With four 3/4” NPT conduit openings, it simplifies conduit installation. Additionally, three screw-in plugs are provided to block unused openings, preventing external intrusion.
An integrated Low Pressure Feed-Through feature helps prevent oil wicking in proximity probe sensors used in rotating or reciprocating equipment. The feed-through includes a split grommet that fits around the cable, allowing for easy installation when cable ends are inaccessible. This grommet also allows for cable position adjustment. Inside the conduit body, the probe cable can be securely connected to an extension cable.
