Monitor vibration in your machinery with this compact and practical vibration meter. This inherently safe meter is ideal for taking spot measurements of machine vibration. Pressing the ON button activates the unit. A vibration reading is then obtained by holding the probe tip against the machine and observing the reading on the LCD display. Comparisons with the vibration intensity chart indicate acceptance conditions.
This economical, practical and economical vibration meter is available in English or metric units. Pressing and holding the ON button “freezes” the vibration reading so the unit can be removed from the test point without losing the reading. The unit returns to normal operation when you release the button.
Power is provided by a standard 9V battery. A symbol appears on the LCD display when the battery is low. The instrument body is made of high impact polymer. A carrying case with belt loop and battery is included. Optional accessories include a 10-inch probe extension for measuring vibration in hard-to-reach areas and exposed shafts.
