Metrix MX2030 Probe Series
The Metrix MX2030 probe is designed for full API 670-compliant performance specifications when used with a properly matching MX2031 extension cable and MX2033 driver. The MX2030 probes are completely interchangeable with the Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 mm/8 mm probes. These distance probes/transducers meet API 670 specifications and have North American ATEX, IECEX, and other hazardous area approvals.

Technical Information
The Metrix MX2030 probe offers a full 80 mil (2 mm) range, available in 5 mm and 8 mm. It is designed for full API 670-compliant performance when used with a properly matched MX2031 extension cable and MX2033 driver. The MX2030 probes are completely interchangeable with the Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 mm/8 mm probes. These distance probes/transducers meet API 670 specifications and have North American ATEX, IECEX, and other hazardous area approvals.
Distance probes measure the relative motion of the rotor or piston rod relative to the machine frame. The probes measure the motion of the machine rotor or alternating compressor piston rod using eddy currents generated in the metallic surface by the proximity probe system. The sensitivity of the digital proximity system is ideal for measuring small movements of the rotor or piston rod. Proximity probes do not touch the metal object they are monitoring, making them a great choice for monitoring liquid film-bearing machines and alternative compressor piston rods.
