Metrix SW5484E Compact Configurable Vibration Switch
The SW5484E is a loop-powered seismic velocity transmitter and configurable vibration switch. This compact switch integrates a piezoelectric accelerometer, signal integrator, RMS or peak detector, 4-20 mA signal conditioner, and a digital microcontroller within a single unit. It is designed to be mounted directly onto a machine casing or bearing housing without disrupting signal conditioning equipment.

SW5484E Compact Configurable Vibration Switches offer an ideal solution when the following conditions apply:
- Limited access areas, such as cooling towers, where access is restricted for safety and health reasons,
- Protection against water ingress, ensuring zero exposure to water damage,
- Ability to operate effectively in any orientation,
- Space constraints that prevent installation of larger mechanical or electrical switches,
- Capability to control two independent alarm outputs,
- Field-configurable switch setpoints and time delays,
- Ready-to-use 4-20 mA velocity signal and dynamic raw acceleration output for external monitoring and control systems.
