Introduction
The Rheonik RHM 03 Coriolis Mass Flow Sensor is a high-precision Coriolis mass flow meter engineered for demanding low-flow applications where exceptional accuracy, repeatability, and reliability are critical. Designed with a robust mechanical structure and optimized flow tube geometry, the RHM 03 ensures stable performance across a wide range of operating conditions, including extreme pressures and temperatures. Its compatibility with a broad selection of wetted materials enables reliable operation in highly corrosive, high-purity, and aggressive process environments, making it ideal for use in chemical processing, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, and specialty industrial applications. With industry-leading pressure and temperature ratings, the sensor maintains measurement integrity even under severe process conditions, while its advanced signal processing capabilities ensure accurate mass flow measurement independent of fluid properties such as density, viscosity, or conductivity.

Pressure Drop

At Qnom, the pressure drop across a parallel tube sensor will be approximately 1-3 bar (15-44 psi) for H2O. Sensors can be operated at higher flow rates, but the pressure drop will be higher. Qmin is the recommended lowest flow rate. Sensors will measure flow rates lower than Qmin, but uncertainty will increase beyond 0.5 % of the rate.
The flow specifications above relate to standard pressure, parallel tube, and manifold sensor versions. Models with higher pressure ratings have increased wall thickness and will have higher pressure drops
