Introduction
The Rheonik RHM 06 Coriolis Mass Flow Sensor is a high-precision Coriolis mass flow measurement solution engineered for critical process applications requiring exceptional accuracy, reliability, and long-term operational stability. Designed as a low-risk and low-maintenance instrument, it delivers consistent performance under extreme process conditions, making it an ideal “fit-and-forget” device for demanding industrial environments. The sensor supports high-pressure and high-temperature operations, while offering a wide selection of wetted materials to ensure full compatibility with aggressive, corrosive, and high-purity media. Its robust mechanical construction, combined with advanced signal processing, enables precise mass flow measurement with minimal drift, reduced recalibration requirements, and enhanced process control. The Rheonik RHM 06 is particularly suited for industries such as oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, and other applications where measurement integrity and system reliability are critical.
- Flow Range: 0.1 kg/min up to 36 kg/min, suitable for low to medium flow applications with high accuracy requirements

Pressure Drop

At Qnom, the pressure drop across a parallel tube sensor will be approximately 1-3 bar (15-44 psi) for H2O. Sensors can be operated at higher flow rates, but the pressure drop will be higher. Qmin is the recommended lowest flow rate. Sensors will measure flow rates lower than Qmin, but uncertainty will increase beyond 0.5 % of the rate.
The flow specifications above relate to standard pressure, parallel tube, and manifold sensor versions. Models with higher pressure ratings have increased wall thickness and will have higher pressure drops.
