Introduction
The Rheonik RHM 04 Coriolis Mass Flow Sensor is a high-performance Coriolis mass flow measurement solution engineered for fast-response applications such as batching, dispensing, and precision filling processes. Designed to operate in extreme industrial conditions, the Rheonik RHM 04 offers exceptional measurement stability and accuracy even under very high pressure and wide temperature ranges, enabling reliable deployment in applications where conventional Coriolis meters were previously unsuitable. Its robust construction, combined with advanced sensor design, ensures superior resistance to mechanical stress, aggressive media, and process fluctuations, making it ideal for critical process industries requiring high precision and repeatability. The sensor supports a wide range of materials to accommodate corrosive and high-purity applications, while its compact design allows seamless integration into complex systems with limited installation space.
- Flow Range: 0.05 kg/min up to 18 kg/min, optimized for low to moderate flow precision applications
- Pressure Rating: Up to 1401 bar (20319 psi), suitable for extremely high-pressure processes
- Operating Temperature: From -196°C (-321°F) to +350°C (662°F), enabling cryogenic to high-temperature operations
- Accuracy: ±0.1% of rate, ensuring high-precision mass flow measurement and repeatability

Pressure Drop

At Qnom, the pressure drop across a parallel tube sensor will be approximately 1-3 bar (15-44 psi) for H2O. Sensors can be operated at higher flow rates, but the pressure drop will be higher. Qmin is the recommended lowest flow rate. Sensors will measure flow rates lower than Qmin, but uncertainty will increase beyond 0.5 % of the rate.
The flow specifications above relate to standard pressure, parallel tube, and manifold sensor versions. Models with higher pressure ratings have increased wall thickness and will have higher pressure drops
