Introduction

The Rheonik RHM 10 Coriolis Mass Flow Sensor is a high-precision Coriolis mass flow meter engineered for small-scale production processes, continuous low-flow measurement, and accurate small-batch dispensing applications. Designed to deliver exceptional performance across a wide range of industrial environments, the RHM 10 combines advanced sensor technology with robust mechanical construction to ensure stable and repeatable measurements even under demanding operating conditions. Its compact design, coupled with multiple construction and material options, allows seamless integration into diverse process systems, including those requiring high pressure, extreme temperatures, or corrosive media compatibility. The sensor provides reliable mass flow and density measurement with superior accuracy, making it an ideal solution for industries such as chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, specialty manufacturing, and precision dosing systems.

Pressure Drop

CSM Rheonik diagram

At Qnom, the pressure drop across a parallel tube sensor will be approximately 1-3 bar (15-44 psi) for H2O. Sensors can be operated at higher flow rates, but the pressure drop will be higher. Qmin is the recommended lowest flow rate. Sensors will measure flow rates lower than Qmin, but uncertainty will increase beyond 0.5 % of the rate.

The flow specifications above relate to standard pressure, parallel tube, and manifold sensor versions. Models with higher pressure ratings have increased wall thickness and will have higher pressure drops.
